Meet the Founder and Owner
I am
Courtney Morgan, LCSW-C, RYT 200
I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland. I completed a Bachelor of science in Psychology from Morgan State University and a Master of Science in Social Work with a concentration in Behavioral Health from University of Maryland, Baltimore. I provide therapy for adult women age 18+, specializes in perinatal mental health and women's issues, and has worked with clients experiencing various issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, coping skills, and life transitions. My preferred therapy interventions are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered, mindfulness-based (MBCT) and solution focused. I am also a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200).
I like to help clients identify their strengths to help maximize them and overcome their obstacles. I am also often incorporate mindfulness practices and skills to strengthen clients' mind-body connection. I create a safe space for women and moms dealing with life’s transitions related to perinatal mental health and women’s issues.
